The little minds
(Let them be)
When thing goes odd
for people around
and they see you crawl
just let things behind
and let people say
and pull up your life
so then you will get
minds cut with a knife
nothing can take
what you want aside
just hear what they say
but don’t take’em in count.

I wrote my first poem in english. I had translated some of my own poems but never wrote one in english from the beginning. This one was inspired due to a gossip where I work about a co-worker, 10 years younger, and me. He took this with a surprising maturity for his age and he ignored the whole thing. We are still friends and get along great.
